Fatz here with stuff to write about. Firstly Autechre then. Brand new CD and double vinyl. It starts off reasonably accessible and it even gets your hopes up that Autechre have made an album that won't take 100 listens to get into. However the lads have cunningly tricked us cos after a few tracks you start to wonder what on earth is on the stereo. The word difficult in the dictionary is followed by adj; Autechre. So it's not an easy listen then, but you wouldn't expect that from Autechre I suppose would you? You wouldn't expect airplanes to not fly or automobiles to not drive. Still if you persist I'm sure there's a lot of treats here for you here. Personally I like a little more melody and structure in there. I'm sure it's in there but I don't want to have to listen to it a hundred times before discovering it.Be the first to review this record. Best reviewer each month gets £10 off their next order!
