Here comes Morrissey with a new single which is "There is a Light that will never go Out" the old Smiths classic crooned by Morrissey live last year sometime. Actually hang on who is singing the chorus? Presumably its Mozzer but it sounds strangely unlike him. Wierd. Anyway all Mozzer fanatics will need it. There's generous B sides across the 3 formats (I think the 7" B side is also on both  CD's but there is exclusive tracks on each CD). And the sleeve is simply ridiculous.

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
