When I play records I like 'em loud so you can imagine the excitement when confronted with a Bilge Pump/ Edmund Fitzgerald 12" on Noisestar recs (part 3 in the series). Bilge Pump (our very own..) kick off with 4 tracks of noisy complicated but tuneful maths rock for want of another way of putting it. Not as dirty sounding as previous things but lovely nonetheless... Flip it over for an 11 minute Edmund Fitzgerald (and his gay brother Gerald FitzEdmund...) track of even more complicated stoppy starty complicated post rock. Rather accomplished sounding I thought. What a good record...A Edmund Fitzgerald, The – My Quiets Heart Slight Of Hand 11:35
B1 Bilge Pump – Storm In A Teardrop 2:55
B2 Bilge Pump – Yell The Tell 1:35
B3 Bilge Pump – Art Nouveau 1:39
B4 Bilge Pump – Rebel Decade 8:12
