What we say This record left our Brian feeling unmoved. The Postal Service are a band. They're on Sub Pop. I find Ben Gibbard's voice makes me want to stick needles in my eyes. They sell a lot of records though, as do Death Cab For Cutie. There's a Matthew Dear mix on this single, 'We Will become Silhouettes'. There's also a Styrofoam mix of 'Nothing Better' (I bet there bloody is!!!!)  I really can't be arsed opening this CD as I'm hallucinating fish & chips. Yep. It's that time dudes. Off to the chippy I go! Byebye! (It's on 12" too you know....) You really should check out the Blue Ribbon CD when we get some in soon. That's miles better........

About the humble 12":

The 12" is the big brother of records as it's an fatter version of the 7", with a vast scope for an array of remixes and B sides. They are slightly less portable their smaller inched brethren but they're by no means inferior. Often the grooves are spaced wider apart and thus sound much much better. You can fit ample tracks on and if worse comes to worse they make fine plates (should your crockery go awol). Yes, there's a hole but holes are easy to sort out. Once again they're available on many different colours and guises. The best thing about a 12" is the potential vastness of the artwork. Also playable on many speeds!!
