Incredibly The Cherubs said this in the recent Artrocker mag. "(we moved to London because) all the bands we liked were from London. Artists like The Cure, Blur, Stooges, Smiths, Sonic Youth, Pixies, Wedding Present, Magazine, Joy Division, Siouxie and the Banshees" either they have been misquoted or their geography is a bit ropey. Anyway we have their second single here which kind of sounds a lot like a fair amount of bands around at the moment ....bits of Franz Ferdinand, The Strokes, Interpol and Talking Heads.
