Its quite easy (and lazy) to dismiss Coastal as Low copyists but this second album is quite, quite astonishingly beautiful. Yeah it has the Low dynamics - male/female harmonies, lightly brushed drums, simple guitar lines. But if Low are wintery and snowy Coastal are like a long summers evening. Its lazy, drifty, laid back music to fall asleep to. For fans of Low, Galaxie 500, Ida. Recommended.Be the first to review this record. Best reviewer each month gets £10 off their next order!
