Hello my name is Clint and I'm going to tell you about some discs I've been listening to. The first one is by Pete Astor who was once in legendary 80's janglers The Loft as well as Wisdom of Harry, Ellis Island Sound and The Weather Prophets. Here is a solo album called 'Hal's Eggs' - the music contained on the disc is excellent. It is mostly interpretations of old traditional songs. I suppose you could compare it a bit to some of the Alasdair Roberts stuff but the arrangements are a bit more modern and its a bit more English sounding like Pentangle or Fairport Convention. The songs are great and it's beautifully arranged. Will fit snugly into the wierd/wired folk thing that's going on at the moment.
