Cass Mccombs is a bit of a god to us here. His last album we all liked which is a rarity here at the Towers. There's usually someone grumbling "this is shit". Cass escaped our wicked snobbery and his new album is here which we all seem to like again. He's like a more sane together Daniel Johnston. Which is a good thing really cos you wouldn't want to be less sane than said nutjob. The songs are superb and the vocals suit tremendously well. Airy and spacious but packed with joy.... ah....
