The 22-20's have very kindly reissued their 1st single which is nice of 'em. Actually it would have been the label doing that and a cunning move it is cos it's the best thing they've ever done. Well it is the best thing I've heard by 'em anyway. It's kinda rockin' (important to miss the 'g' out) and the vocalist sounds like an American Robert Smith. It's an emotional workout alright and if I had more space at home for records I'd take a copy home with me (I have to be very fussy...). I really don't remember it being this good.

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
