The Seven Autumn Flowers by Trembling Blue Stars

Sometimes life still has the ability to throw up nice things. Today in the chip shop the lady being served in front of me paid for her chips and then announced to everyone "I'm going to enjoy every mouthful". She looked so happy  - my heart was so warmed that I almost burst into tears. Trembling Blue Stars sometimes have the same effect on me. I can't imagine these folk hurting a fly. Their music is so tuneful and happy yet heartfelt. I'm so glad in these days there are still people out there that release Bobby Wratten records. The man makes lovely music. The Field Mice got me through my difficult late teens/early 20's bit and I'll always be grateful to them. New Trembling Blue Stars LP 'The Seven Autumn Flowers' (oh how sweet!) is out now on Elefant. Please buy.
