Two new singles by Bright Eyes. I used to like that 'Fever and Mirrors' album but since then everything Conor Oberst has done has irritated me. I guess its a love it or hate it thing. Anyway 'Lua' has him turning into stripped down sparse Ryan Adams (when he wasn't totally rubbish) territory. The other single 'Take it Easy' is an upbeat number. But you know whichever side of Oberst's talent is demonstrated I always get the feeling that there's something not quite genuine about him.
