There I've gone & done it now. The band that never really need reviewing as their enigmatic appeal ensures we sell out of every release within a few days no mater how many we get in! Well, a new E.P. has landed, adorned with the usual stunning artwork (all their sleeves are great) and guests including members of Low & Cornershop. The opening tune, "Saint Marie" is reminiscent of The Durutti Column, all old school drum machine & ethereal guitar. The other 5 numbers vary between windswept acoustic laments (featuring the legendary Vashti Bunyan) & folktronica (gah!) experiments. So, ethereal, like All About Eve's "Martha's Harbour" & that's bloody ethereal man. CD only on Green UFO's

About the humble CD:

The CD is essentially a small portable face mirror which has an extra feature of being able to play music (through a thing known as a CD player). These CD's are a modern invention hence them being all shiny and digital. They can hold about 80 minutes of music and apparently are indestructible as you can smear jam on them and they still play (not as nourishing as toast mind you but when you're hungry.....). They sound crystal clear and are tiny convenient things. They lack the charm and warmth of their old analogue counterparts but their portability, convenience and ease of being duplicated make them a perfect thing of a thing for most folks. Jewel cases are the worst thing ever though and they really need to stop.

They even checked their logs to see if they could find a trace of it but nothing came out...
