The Girls E.P. is a 4 track offering on Team Shadatek's label & by the first track on the 'smooth' side, I'd never have guessed. By Tiombe Lockhart, It's like sweet R'n'B & soul with a really nice organic feel & fresh, interesting arrangement . Not a grunch or gribble in sight. Bizarro duuuude. The Shad' track sounds simply divine. Starting with a hushed ethnic vibe before flowing into deliriously strange slow mo hip hop beats & some well out there harpsichord & the like. Another totally fresh & vibrant record that has me thinking there's truly a beautiful heart & soul beating away in electronica's blackened corpse. The 'rugged' side on the other hand has professional silly twat Drop The Lime making a ridiculous breakcore mess all over the shop & Mode Selektor turn up the ampage for a spot of digital dancehall/ DnB clatterfest..
