Kasabian have a new single out called Club Foot. Actually it's been out before so you can't really call it new now can you? Well this one sounds like Second Coming from The Stone Roses mixed by The Chemical Brothers with Shaun Ryder singing. I defy anyone to find a better comparison that that. If that floats your boat (and believe me, mine would have been extremely floated by this about 10 years ago). Nope Christmas is in December..

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
