Giving me all the wierd electronic stuff this week is like giving a pig peanuts. But I have no choice - there's nothing else to write about. Here's a new 12" split between DJ Rupture and Com. A. Twice now I have made the mistake of calling him DJ Rapture - once in front of the cool kids in a record shop in Leeds. Oh how they laughed. But its just one letter different and they fully well knew who I meant. The other time was luckily at Norman towers where they know how mixed up I get. Any way the DJ Rapture (sic) side is a low end bass line trundling along with a ragga/dancehall MC shoehorned over the top. The Com A side features a much more enjoyable bass dub ting with some absolutely fantastic drums. The bass line wanders about to good effect while the vocals bring a much bigger level of excitement.
