Hilton - Killing A Girl

Killing A Girl by Hilton

3...according to our on Sun 03 Dec, 2006.

I have here in my savage claws a 7" by Hilton, no doubt named after the popular hotel chain. Dowtempo classy sounding indie with echoes of 80's grand pop & the like. 'Killing A Girl' is a strange old record & doesn't seem to be swimming in the same waters as the majority of pop at the moment. Not half bad, if a little mainstream sounding (well 1986 mainstream that is!) See, maybe, later period Railway Children or Black for really loose reference points as to It's sound. The 2nd tune is completely different like. Smooth but lo-fi & nicely blissed out. Well it is called 'Blue Skies'. Features a remix on the flip.
