I saw The Walkmen the other night and I thought they were quite good aside from the singer sounding a little hoary like Rod Stewart. Mind you they played some of the early stuff which made me happy. Anyhoo they release their 2nd single from their critically acclaimed album. On 2 CD's (no vinyl for some stupid reason....) and both have different tracks on. I prefer this to The Rat which will probably upset some folks as many people have told me it's their single of the year. They have their own sound and this is a catchy inventive affair though he still sounds like Rod Stewart. So to summarise this sounds like a much edgier Strokes with Rod Stewart singing....Be the first to review this record. Best reviewer each month gets £10 off their next order!
