When I saw The 22-20's on Jools Holland they reminded me of Status Quo. But shock horror this new single seems to have moved along a bit from the old 12 bar boogie. I actually like this tune. Its a decent swampy rock thing with a few interesting chord changes and a catchy chorus. B side reverts to type unfortunately but the main track is a very nice surprise. Comes on 7" CD and DVD.

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
