Restiform Bodies last year produced one of the finest alt hip-hop albums of all time for me personally. Now Passage from the collective has a solo thing out called "The Forcefield Kids" on Anticon. Starting off as a twisted tribute to Tubeway Army, this is truly groundbreaking stuff, what you'd expect from this esteemed stable. Intense avant raps, fresh vibrant percussion, otherworldly future-baiting synths, Abstract mechanical beat structures, alt folk snippets, electro punk & slow-mo lo-fi bedroom hip hop sounding very much like T'Bodies themselves (or Themselves for that matter!!) A truly refreshing & diverse experience in aural pleasure. My Album of the week!
