The first time I heard 'Tides' by Arovane I went bananas with excitement. I still think that album is one of the best of the last few years. Unfortunately since that landmark disc Mr Arovane has seen fit to release a load of other records that have not managed to tickle ones fancy quite so much. So to read that this new record was a return to the sound of 'Tides' was much welcome. On first listen it doesn't disappoint. The overall feel is of lovely floatiness. I think its less organic than the last album but more electronic. Will appeal to fans of Boards of Canada, Christian Kleine, Ulrich Schnauss etc etc. On City Centre Offices.Be the first to review this record. Best reviewer each month gets £10 off their next order!
