Rachel Goswell used to be in Slowdive and Mojave 3. Now she has gone solo. This is her debut mini CD on 4AD. What are they thinking? Who knows. Its wetter than a wet wednesday in Whitby. Twee slightly folky indie pop. I can imagine her singing this in a big white flowing dress with young bachelor types throwing roses at her feet. Its nearer to Mojave 3 than Slowdive. Its nothing like Slowdive if that's what your hoping for. Nearer to All About Eve in fact. But there's some chirpy enough tunes here. Give the lass a chance.
