Two Lone Swordsmen - From The Double Gone Chapel

Righto. What the hell are Two Lone Swordsmen playing at now? Always the mischievous chameleons of the techno world, they've gone from awkward stuttering experimental techno to hypnotic future electro (which I adored) & have now decided to combine the dubby grime of early Death In Vegas with the scuzzy downtown New York future rock of David Holmes's "Bow Down To The Exit Sign", All low slung bass & paranoia, Andy Weatherall's  distorted vocals & a dub/krautrock sheen. You know when a band's turned full circle when your boss who's never rated them thinks it's really good & you yourself are left scratching your head thinking "What The FUCK?" Not at all what I was expecting, but that's a GOOD thing! It's called "From The Double Gone Chapel" & is on Warp, CD & Dbl Vinyl
