Brian has been banned from reviewing Mclusky albums as they make him sick. It really isn't fair on anyone to let him continue his tirade so I've got them. So this is their second album produced mainly (and manly) by Steven Albini. It has the great spacious production you might expect. Mclusky are ok but quite annoying at times. Some of their songs are very catchy - I could imagine jumping up and down to this with a stomach full of beer sloshing around. Track 3 sounds pretty much exactly like Modest Mouse. Otherwise its noisy post hardcore indie pop. They have their moments I suppose. On Too Pure.Be the first to review this record. Best reviewer each month gets £10 off their next order!
