After the reform year 2003, the year 2004 promises to be the year-of-innovation. We are true believers and would like to convince ourselves that everything stays different, so let`s keep up the spirit and go forit! To celebrate the new frontier we introduce an old format:a 7". More precisely, it is a split-7" of two acts thatcouldn`t be more different. Both will tease the coming up two Combination album releases to the max. Of course we will limit the supply in a manner that grants the anxious ebay-agents sleepless nights alreadynow.
Side one:
Kabuki feat Fat Jon - "Fat Lizard"
A remake of a Kabuki classic, carried to a new level by the unbelievable smart rap of Fat Jon. This is hip hop 2004! A track from the long awaited debut album "Signal to Noise" by Kabuki.
Side two:
Christopher Just - "Jeans & Electronic"
In 1996, the "dada technocrat" Christopher Just published a completealbum by the name Jeans & Electronics. Unfortunately it wasonly released in the US and France. Launching the Combination series "Forever Young" we will release this album on cd, including the title piece "Jeans & Electronic" that actually wasn`t on thealbum because it was composed shortly after its release. Electronical punk dating from `96, served with the original cover and a smart Carhartt jeans bag.
