Matmos - Rat Relocation Program

Rat Relocation Program by Matmos

3...according to our on Fri 08 Dec, 2006.

There's a lot of references to rats about  at the moment what with that Walkmen (featuring Rod Stewart) single, a 12" on Textile called Rats and this Matmos Rat Relocation Program CD. Basically a rat broke its way into Matmos's apartment. They decided to get rid of it and (you're hardly going to believe this) tape the results. So you get half an hour of rat squeaks while the Matmos boys fiddle around trying to get rid of the bloody thing. They do so in a humane way in case you're worried they smashed its skull to smithereens with the blunt end of a Roland 606. If I said that it is compulsive listening would you believe me? Next in the series: Kieran Hebden gets a wasp out of the kitchen with hilarious results.
