Rex records release one of those cute ultra limited 7"s (which seem to act as some kind of press-buzz springboard to big daddy XL - see Avalanches, Young Shat Attack, Golden Virgins, Ratashat....) This one, however is quite super. Faceless Werewolves bring to mind Kaito kicking the shit out of The Von Bondies (oh no not again! - Jack White's lawyers). Somewhere between art school no wave & garage blues without sounding remotely contrived or tired..2 tracks well worth yr $.
