As well as being the best film ever made, Fargo seems to be the name of a pretty good record label. They have a compilation out called Greetings from Fargo that boasts an excellent line up of the some of the best of the alt country (for want of a better sub genre) gang. There's songs from the God-like Richard Buckner, Beulah, Clem Snide, Paula Frazer, Neal Casal, Andrew Bird as well as a few people I ain't never heard. There's 19 tracks in all unfortunately most of them have already been released but its a good starting place for the curious. This is a bargain priced sampler by the wayBe the first to review this record. Best reviewer each month gets £10 off their next order!
