The Stands - All Years Leaving

All Years Leaving by The Stands

3...according to our on Tue 12 Dec, 2006.

The Stands emerge with their debut CD/LP which somehow managed to irritate me after about 20 seconds when we listened to it the other day. Its tuneful sunny country rock that takes all its influences from The Byrds and Bob Dylan. The single 'The River Runs Over Me' is by far the best thing here. Its not bad at all just too derivative and the singer's voice weighs in with a mighty 9.1 on the whiney richter scale. But as a whole its inoffensive, happy,  nice to children and animals etc.
