Trans-Am bring us a brand new album. Excellent stuff it has to be said. Pisses all over that last effort. Ok ok they've done the thing of sampling George Bush that everyone has done recently. That track apart there's some great masculine funk work outs on here. Taut and angular...makes me want to grow a moustache. Is this the album The Rapture could have made with a bit more ambition? I'd say maybe. Plenty of early 80's PIL like guitar strangling to boot...and I haven't even mentioned the synthesizers yet. On Thrill Jockey.Be the first to review this record.
