The Orb... remember them? They have a split 12" out with Michael Mayer on Kompakt and it's a bit useful. Not being a big fan of the Kompakt stuff I wasn't excited about this 'un but Brian shoved it on and I quite enjoyed it. The Orb track (now joined by Jimmy Cauty) is a big glam techno stomp ala Terry Raumschmiere. Whereas the M Mayer track is a classy minimal techno tune ala Jeff Mills or The Aztec Mystics Knights Of The Jaguar.
