Surprise of the week # 2 is a curious 4 track 7" on the criminally ignored Kitchen records. By Guitare Brothers, this is called 'Remix Moi' & is simply bizarre as fuck. DJ Ordeal, Transistor 6 turn in fairly wobbly, gurgling & enjoyable re-jigs of an original idea by GB (based on an idea by Negativland by the sounds of it!) But the real surprise comes with the Waverunner mix - a sort of stuttering old skool lo-fi acid house thing done in someone's bedroom & Bumpy's strange lo-fi excursion into dark electronic dogs shagging Lemon Jelly's leg. Sounds a bit like those MBV excursions into hip hop with a soupcon of early Mouse On Mars. Brilliant!Be the first to review this record. Best reviewer each month gets £10 off their next order!
