Rating: ecstatic This record left our Brian feeling ecstatic.

Not heard much on the Lux Nigra label before but we have an interesting looking compilation called '...Allstars' which includes some of the most thrilling electronica I've heard in a wee while. Containing some dark, twinkling, magical & disembodied tunes like a cross between stuff on Berlin's Koolpop imprint & the stunning Leila LP 'Like Weather' from Rephlex a few years ago. Others verge on splintered gabba and suchlike. That's the overall vibe I'm getting from these bewitching waxings by the likes of Biochip C, Arovane, Zorn, Blackjewishgays, (their track is just AWESOME), Artificial Duck Flavour & the amazing Society Suckers. Comp of the month......
