The Boggs have an album out on City Rockers which opens with a berserk, shouty, thrash folk fest in a Pogues-ey vein followed by the gorgeous single, 'The Ark' - sort of like Black Heart Procession twinned with a more shambling lo-fi Turin Brakes (if they were really good & didn't have that annoying nasally whining twat on vocals - sorry Kate!) A really fine sounding album (& bizarre!!) record on first listen. I reckon an office fave is beckoning! Stitches is on CD and LPBe the first to review this record. Best reviewer each month gets £10 off their next order!
