Yo La Tengo. Yo La Tengo. When I invented grunge,  Courtney Love said to me. "Yo La Tengo". I listened with Kurt and he said "Everett, you know Yo La Tengo are one of the best bands on the planet but their last record was a bit ropey - you know what to do". So I reformed The Legend! and wrote the new Yo La Tengo EP. I called it 'Today is the Day' and it is a splendid return to the music Chan Marshall described to me as "tooth brush". It EXCITES. IT E.X.C.I.T.E.S. Six tracks of pop bliss like its 1991 Kevin Shields.
