Azure Ray are on Saddle Creek and we have their new single in right now and a lovely thing it is too. On 7" and compact disc tis called The Drinks We Drank Last Night. Don't think they're on about ribena neither.... This is Mazzy Star ish sounding pretty music but much less sombre sounding. It does sound right classy though for a northern lad like me and it's the kind of thing you want in the background while yr trying to make up/ pull someone cos it's heart wrenchingly lovely. Brian reckons her voice sounds a bit like Belinda Butcher from My Bloody Valentine So there you go....Be the first to review this record. Best reviewer each month gets £10 off their next order!
