New album by Quasi on Domino called "Hot Shit". Hmmm I don't know about hot but the first song here is absolutely amazing!!!! It sounds like the Thinking Fellers meets Caroliner meets...oh I don't know all detuned guitars and crazed yokel vocals. Heh heh! The rest returns to the Beatles type melodies Quasi usually come up with. Whether you'll like this depends partly on how much you like George Harrison. I guess theres bits of Flaming Lips in here as well in it's off kilteredness. It rocks aswell and has some bluesy erm... licks that people duped by Kings of Leon might like. If you like both Randy Newman and the White Stripes you've found your new favourite band. There's a limited CD with an extra CD full of live tracks.Be the first to review this record.
