Clint here. Another day another Guided By Voices album. I thoroughly enjoyed their last couple of records but this one is a huge disappointment. The songs are kind of bland and over long. I've tried a few times with this as usually I'm a huge fan of the musings of Mr Pollard & co but this one is kind of sloppy and half arsed. There's the odd class pop moment but they are capable of much better than this. I'm concerned that they are turning into the Status Quo of the indie-rock world. On Matador (who should thrash Pollard soundly with a stick). Earthquake Glue is on CD and LPBe the first to review this record. Best reviewer each month gets £10 off their next order!
