The lovely Static returns with his new full length on City Centre Offices entitled 'Flavour Has No Name' which is a 10 track affair of downtempo & chilled electronic pop. Very pretty & melodic with plenty of top notch guest vocalists ala R. Lippok, Valerie Lali Puna & Justine Electra (who??) A bit like a happier Euro Massive Attack without the creeping insomnia & panic (sort of!!??) Nice for those 5 in the morning chill out sessions in yer bedroom. Lovely! Vinyl & Compakt Disque folks..Hanno Leichtmann aka Static continues his tour de force and for us, this flavour has a name indeed: Pure bliss. More melodies, more guests (To Rococo Rot's Stefan Schneider on bass, Christof Kurzmann on vocals), old friends (Ronald Lippok, Justine Electra) and a very genuine drift towards the format of the pop song.
