D.O.T (aka Dakota Oak Trio) have a new album out. Their last album should have been strangled at birth and this new one has a really awful sleeve which puts me off immediately. The music features more vocals and electronics and sounds quite slight at first but half way through the first side it starts hitting its stride with some very pretty acoustics, vocals and trumpets. Its a confused mess at first but I have a feeling its gonna need some plays. Its on Twisted Nerve and features James Rutledge (Pedro), Dave Tyack (various, currently quite literally residing in the 'where are they now' files).Be the first to review this record.
