Now for another three piece indie band. Whirlwind Heat are XL's latest hopes & their debut, 'Do Rabbits Wonder?' is probably the most exiting thing I've heard from the other side of the Atlantic since the Radio 4 LP. Completely off the wall post-hardcore mentalism & new wave dynamics mixed with inpenetrable freestyling & Jack White on PCP style vocals. Oh, he produced it incidently & it sounds NOWT like The White Stripes. All the track titles are colours just to piss off more people I should imagine. Brilliant!!
