What we say

Rating: unmoved This record left our Brian feeling unmoved.

I've seen some shite bands in my time but the epitome of laughable awfulness was embodied by The Faint, touring with Radio 4 last year. Nearly shat mesen laughing I did...Anyway, the daft plonkers from NY (Must be mates with the equally atrocious ARE Weapons methinks) return with Agenda Suicide (their 'best' track) from their bizarrely popular long player 'Danse Macabre'. Instantly dated electro rock for fashion victims. My friend Maria will hit me for that cos she likes 'em but I think they suck the big one. Includes a dreadful remix & a Bright Eyes (!!!) cover which kinda makes sense (sounds like a rubbish Depeche Mode!). CD only thank gawd!!

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
