Theres lots of Kings of....these days.....Convenience.....Leon......and heres the King of Woolworths which is not quite really anything that you'd gloat about. You probably wouldn't gloat about using bongoes 2 minutes into the first track on your brand new CD either but this is what the King of Woolworths has gone and done. Anyhow since the interesting 10"s and patchy album of last year the King has seemingly been given a wad of cash to make a new compact disc which he's used on vocal enhancements from Dot Allison and Emma Pollock (Delgados). We think this will appeal to fans of the french group Air. L'illustration Musicale is on LP and CDBe the first to review this record. Best reviewer each month gets £10 off their next order!
