Manitoba with back with Jacknuggeted on CD single and 12" courtesy of those nice folks at Leaf records. Crikey this is good. More like Fourtet than previous releases. Yr folktronica (I believe it's called) and he does it rather well. Up there on a par with the Fourtet chap is Mr Manitoba. He be getting better and better. Big drums, nice acoustic guitars and interesting arrangements with lots of plinky plonky in there. The word be gorgeous...

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
