Rating: happy This record left our Clint feeling happy.

The Microphones are a band that I've never really liked before. But they've done a whole host of albums so my luck is bound to change sometime. Their new one Mount Eerie on K is pretty strange -a whole host of tribal drums with train noises and chanting then fractured vocals take over with (yes) eerie noises. Not like any of the stuff of theirs I've heard before. Fats and Brian here are very impressed by this and they've heard more of it than me . Sounds very interesting though and I want to hear more. Could be a classic.
