Next up the Dirty Three. A brand new album and seemingly just as good as all their others. They have such a distinctive sound. I heard a story that when they toured America the violin guy spent six weeks not wearing any trousers. He just wandered around in his underpants and didn't seem to notice. He obviously had much more pressing matters on his mind like coming up with this ace new LP. They always remind me of the music to the film The Straight Story if anyone has ever heard that - spooky guitar, driving drums and lashings and lashings of violin.
