Probably the first band that Snowstorm has signed from an unsolicited demo.

When Bad Anorak 404 (AKA Lin Sangster) came into the Snowstorm office with the demos for Sun + Sea = and happened to confide that her favorite film was Harold and Maude it was a done deal. The whole story started years ago when Lin played with cult Liverpool band Kit and then went on to form C-Stripey.

The thing these bands shared was a timeless quality to their songwriting, so when Lin, in search of full control over her music formed Bad Anorak 404 the music was bound to be strike a chord with all the hopeless romantics, freaks, geeks, and dreamers of this world.

Labeled "future folk" by Uncut magazine Bad Anorak 404's genius lies in marrying beautiful folk melodies with gentle electronica to create a magical new hybrid.
