The Von Bondies are back with a re release of It Came From Japan. Detroit garage punk rock which is one their best songs. Don't do it for me but Brian here likes it and thinks it's rather tremendous. But he's a bit of a starver and fancies one of the women in the band. He's a simple boy bless.....

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
