Low - Trust

Trust by Low

4...according to our on Fri 12 Jan, 2007.

Low have a new album out on Rough Trade. As always its quality stuff. Its more produced than before sounds a bit dark and ethereal a bit more like their first album 'I could live in hope' which must be one of the greatest albums ever. But by the 2nd track its got noisy. Yes noisy. Need to listen to this more to get a proper feel of whats going on. Trust is on LP and CD

I don't care what people say, this is Low's tightest and most profound album.

I found 'Trust' to be much less accessable than most of Low's back catalog, but it also turned out to be the most rewarding. You feel as if you're in the presence of a wise old man when you listen to this, as if every word sung is worth it's weight in gold. The music drifts alongs sluggeshly, as if only just awake. I've never heard such raw beauty in music.
