Moonkat- 7" on Purr. Highly decent lady fronted indie with Monochrome Set guitar bits in, a top tunes. Like a British Sleater Kinney but probably better and considerably less whiny.... group of 3 girls and 1 boy who play lo-fi riot grrl guitar music.
Like their debut, "Tonight I am discontentment," it picked up radio
play by both John Peel and Steve Lamacq, and has earned them support
slots to the likes of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Strokes, Six by Seven
and Angelica.
