Moonkat - Home Is Where The Hearth Is

Home Is Where The Hearth Is by Moonkat

4...according to our on Sat 13 Jan, 2007.

Moonkat- 7" on Purr. Highly decent lady fronted indie with Monochrome Set guitar bits in, a top tunes. Like a British Sleater Kinney but probably better and considerably less whiny.... Also there's a track on the B side called My english teacher is a Mogwai Fan. Home Is Where The Hearth Is nice....

This is the second release by moonkat, an angry, nervous and bored
group of 3 girls and 1 boy who play lo-fi riot grrl guitar music.
Like their debut, "Tonight I am discontentment," it picked up radio
play by both John Peel and Steve Lamacq, and has earned them support
slots to the likes of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Strokes, Six by Seven
and Angelica.
