Blue States - Man Mountain

Man Mountain by Blue States

4...according to our on Sat 13 Jan, 2007.

XL release a new album by Blue States. They're last single was pretty useful, cunningly aided by a wicked Fourtet mix. Well this is yr sensible chill out music for people who actually like music rather than folks who tread off to Ibiza and come back covered in foam wanting a reminder of their holiday. So cynical today...... Very cinematic and lush sounding. I sat playing this at home last week and couldn't get into it, probably cos I don't have enough Ikea furniture to look at (you need a white room sparsely decorated with wooden furniture to really get the most from this) nor do I drink coffee or probably most importantly have a thriving facial forest. Maybe I should drink more coffee but then I don't need it cos I'm pretty hyper most of the time. Man Mountain is not bad anyway which I think is what I'm trying to say badly.
